CAMI is a research collective that provides space for methodological exploration by showcasing, advancing, and creating community for scholars who seek to envision and do research differently. We work to decenter dominant ideologies, epistemologies, and methodologies while cultivating more equitable, justice-oriented ontologies. 

As researchers and scholars from diverse backgrounds, we aim to collaborate and support each other within intellectually safe spaces. 

We build solidarity by sharing and validating our lives as scholars. We highlight creative and innovative projects and nurture fellowship and mentorship. We resist remaining limited by traditional research paradigms and exploitative research practices. We aspire to create more ethical, expansive research traditions. And we cultivate the humanizing, pedagogical, and healing potentials of inquiry and encourage curiosity and holistic approaches. 

By seeking a more relational research praxis, we invite co-creation that transcends boundaries, broadly defined, engaging with all dimensions of experience.
